About The Wako

My photo
Who's too chicken to dance in public ? Who's too chicken to dip bananas in spicy sauce ? Who's too chicken to parade around with their underwear as headwear ? Not me.

Pimp's Night

Since this evening's weather has it's best intentions on drawing me into dreamland again, I'm going to go against it ! By possibly transmitting whatever energy I have left from a little sleep deprivation last night into blogging.

All hail the sacred word that hasn't been heard for a while now !

The past few weeks have been heavy but at least it knocks out a little laziness in me before the finals begin soon enough. So, I'm just going to save the slackish activities to savour during the end-year break. However, I did have a good time once again the last time I was out with my peeps especially for one of them in particular.

It was mah chinese indian attemptful best friend's 16th ! *inside joke*

George the awesomeness let us win free dessert & fried mac n' cheese !

Daniel was just more into the game than Soon's talking about waiting tables at Dave's, haha.

Yes that is actually rice under the shrimp & broccoli, nyummm

Kiru : I'm hotter than that sauce
Shar : Oooh, I like that ;)

Thank you for such a fun night Cindi ! You know we love you ! Eh, when's my salary coming in arh ? haha

Dreamers Get The Best

Go ahead and ask me what my dream is, I would say something silly to make you laugh but deep down inside I would secretly re-question myself ... " What is my dream ? " I want to make my own music, own a restaurant while living on a yacht so I can dive in the ocean for my own fish. Somehow these are the only goals I've developed. If I don't get this I'd pick the other. I'm allowing myself to be exposed to as much of risk I could receive just by being that flexible. If it makes me happy it goes, so lets carry on the legacy normally discovered in History classes of sitting aimlessly by the window to keep dreaming ! There's no rush unless you're forty-five without a job.

Catch The Sun !

Kula Shaker were down in KL performing and how could I miss out on that ? I know I've only been listening to this guys after Dom told me two weeks before but last night was definitely worth it. Now, I'm just more hooked on to them ... haha

We left the house at about 6:30pm then reached Life Centre within an hour amazingly.

My uncle was so excited about playing Need For Speed on his new iPhone, guess he had a better time in the traffic jam than me haha.

We were staring at that for about half an hour. Ooh pretty blue smoke.

That's the cafe- like-VIP section a level above us. I was down at the mosh pit receiving the direct energy of the music. :D

It got scary when the guy in front of me started jumping cause he was so tall ! There were mostly indie people, hippies and twenty year olds among the crowd haha.

The place was packed but even being on time we managed to stand right in front. About less than two feet away from the stage, less than two feet away from Crispian. ;)

The first few songs got the crowd the singing and dancing a little but by the time they played Hey Dude & Hush, it was hard not to jump like a hyperactive kid with a sugar rush ! Wohoo.

Really salute the drummer he did gooooooood !

Kula Shaker saved one of their biggest hits Govinda for last. The whole song isn't in English but I am sure that it's about praising the Gods. I did kind of enjoy that considering I had no idea what I was singing haha.

It was an awesome show. Thank you, Kula Shaker !
Even my uncle loved them having no idea of what they sound like at all until he saw them perform yesterday.

Slide View

Today I had the chance to eat blueberry cakes while sipping on a cappuccino hundreds of feet above the busy roads of KL. It was rather an adventure even making it up to the elevator with the crowd of tourists. Guess that means the tourism agencies have been doing a good job haha.

They did have a large variety of foods to pick from. I definitely had a lot of fun with the diversified menu. Especially with the potatoes, like I've said before in front a crowd of 40 year olds "Potatoes are good for the soul ! " don't ask me why I said that though because ... I don't remember.

The restaurant takes about an hour to revolve a whole round presenting to you the skyline of Kuala Lumpur at it's least noisiest haha.

Yummy yummy chocolate, on my plate, in my blood.

Guess that was better Saturday then lazing at Starbucks all evening awaiting a Tom Cruise to walk pass by. :D

Flow With Me

Yesterday, while chilling in the Prefect's Room with the rest of my Slushés we took advantage of the sudden urge to perform for crowd at the Speaker's Corner, thanks to our spontaneity. Most bands start off with street performing, cafés or competitions but we do it differently I guess. Haha. Sometimes I'm happy we get these crazy rushes to do some things we'd probably chicken out if we took some time to think through it. Talking about rushing ...

Shall we follow our spontaneity more !

Feeling kind of like a politician after saying that,
Kiru.

VVIP Wth Sushi

Our little monster threw her sweet 16 last Saturday night and how can all of us not be there to celebrate it with her. :D

I reached The Street at about 8:30pm walking through the heavy rain. See all of things I do just for you Najla ? Haha.

Dom, Tanu, me & Cindi <3>
RedBox had a buffet prepared outside of the room. It was kind of funny walking across the reception counter with our plates sushi & lamb.

Tanu didn't try to seduce me that, isn't that unbelievable ?

Unfortunately I left a little earlier and missed out on that. Haha.

Happy sweet 16th, monsterrrrr. They grow up so fast ..

When there is a way, there is a will.

Have you ever saved a real cool line just to say it when everybody can hear you ? Or something smart like "Tomatoes are fruits, noodlehead". Well, for English we all had to get in groups to perform a sketch and our's was Teen Pregnancy.

The whole sketch was supposed to be serious and it WAS until I was getting through my third line at the part where I'm counseling Anith *the prego girl* but there was a little slip in my speech. It went something like this

" Oh dear you're in a tough situation here, however when there is a way there is a will ! "

*the whole class bursts out laughing after 5 seconds*

"Hold up ... "

*Puan Anne laughing*

" No, got it ! When there is a will there is a way. Haha so we have to inform your parents because they might know how to solve this "

Oh well that's just me, right ? xD
