About The Wako

Fresh Bread Aroma

I have officially fell in love with Cupcake Chic cupcakes. Especially the apple cinammon. Soft apple filled cupcake topped sweet and smooth cinammon cream. Yummy! ;)

Christmas celebration pictures ( limited )

Slurpy Lemonade

The holidays are a blast! Eventhough, we didn't plan on going overseas it's been a good time :D My uncle, aunt ( the doctors ) and cousin from Ipoh stayed over for a couple of nights. It was great. We did so much shopping. My parents got me a pair of gorgeos earrings from Khazanah and an adorable sea turtle soft toy. Arigato!

MY INTERNET'S FIXED!!!

I've been waiting for almost a week. God Bless the guy who got it connected again. I was still in bed when he came. Haha! Thanks, man. Will post pictures while we were having all the fun next time :D

Smell Of Rosewood

It's been kind of cool here all day. Yeah, you might be thinking.

Apperently my uncle preferred doing it in the opposite way. Just kidding.

Sea turtles are so cute!

Lionfishes :)

I took this picture. Haha. Not off the net.
Went to watch Alvin and The Chipmunks the other day. Still can't believe Theodore was Jesse Mccartney. Haha! The movie was great. Lots of comedy.

Beneath The Strings

I know, I haven't been blogging lately. Sorry to all of the readers. It's just that my internet's been down for the past 3 days.
Went to Aquaria yesterday. It was really fun! Got to touch and hold starfishes, baby sharks and stuff. Haha. Will post about it soon with lots of pictures.
Have to go for dinner now. Bye!

Apples And Oranges

Delicious Tom Yam soup :)

This is the first time im advertsing Tom Yam soup

My uncle's huge ice blend coffee

Rashika AMAZINGLY offering me french fries

Last night, all of us went to Black Canyon for dinner. The Tom Yam soup they served was spectacular! It tasted so good....Mmmmm

Earlier that evening I followed my cousins to Bukit Cahaya. My aunts tagged along too. We went to the four season house. Since it's winter right now, we managed to experience -7 degrees celcius WITHOUT JACKETS. I was rather comfortable compared to the others. Haha! Our next stop was the mini zoo. There wasnt much there though 0_0

I felt like someone from LOST everytime we tried to catch a bus. Haha! Reached home at 7.00pm. And went for dinner after showering. I was really knocked out after dinner. No kidding :)

Island Blends

Hey y'all! The blogger is back. Yesterday, went out with Joanne. We kind of set up an ACCIDENTAL meeting. Haha! Its true. And it worked. My mum totally didnt mind Jo tagging along with us. We met at AnW. Then, we went to loads of places :) Let me list down a few for fun. Alright?

We did yoga and played knock knock jokes in MPH

Had lunch at The Chicken Rice Shop

Met Najla, Nisshata , Robyn, Nazween and Nikita

Camwhored the whole time

Thought we saw Robby Williams at Tower Record

Playing with candles in Jusco

We had a great time. Im assuming my mum did too. Haha!

So Tiny

I've just returned from my 3 day 2 night stay at Ipoh. It was really fun! Meeting up with cousin's.
Saturday

My dad, mum and grandparents had to attend a function at Penang. So, they dropped us at my cousins' place. Vin got a new Mp3 which he advertised as I step foot into their house " So tiny! ". Yeah, my I-Pod was twice the size of his Mwalker. Haha! I assumed my other cousin, Ruban ( he had PMR earlier this year ) was rather high and couldn't stop cracking jokes. I spent the night there. We watched Transformers and aunty's dinner was delicious ;)

Sunday

After getting ready for the day, went down to get some breakfast. It was 10.30am and Ruban was at the hall. It was actually amazing he got up much earlier 0_0 Haha! He had badminton practice at 2pm. I followed to drop him off. And Vin was explaining a bit about ACS while we were hanging around there. It was rather interesting. Hehe. Later that night my other aunt and uncle ( their both doctors ) made plans for the night. Dinner at this Golf Club and late night coffee at their patio. We returned to my grandparent's at midnight, and guess who greeted us in?

Shanthini's brother, Praevin who will be here for 3 months of holidays. He's studying in Melbourne. He managed to surprise everybody. Haha! Shanthini, Praevin, Ruban and me stayed up till 3am just chit chatting. We're really close with each other ^^

Today

Had some very nice Cha Khoi for breakfast. All of us were just packing up our stuff and getting ready to leave. Praevin followed us back.

I tried my best to make this post as short as possible. Haha! No kidding.

Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium

Golden Screen Cinemas :)

Shanthini and me ( I know, very blur )

Yes, I watched Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium. Sounds boring? It's nothing like that after you watch the movie. The main characters are Mr Magorium ( Dustin Hoffman ) , Molly Mahoney ( Natalie Portman ) , the 9 year-old ( Zach Mills ) and Henry ( Jason Bateman ). It was

MAGICAL

FUNNY

ENJOYABLE

OK. So now let me you guys about what happened before the movie. I went with my cousin, Shanthini and her family. Shanthini and me switched with my aunt as she got closer to the counters. I had no problems getting under the divider neither did my aunt. The laughter of some people made me turn. And guess what? The divider thing let go when Shanthini was getting in 'cause she accidently pushed it up. Out of ambaressment, she was nudging me to stop laughing. Haha!. Anyway, I really wanted to go for The Kingdom. So, this was how the conversation went in the ticket booth

Shan: Hi, can I take her for The Kingdom?

Me: *waves*

Lady: 18 above can

Shan: Erm...

Me: Im 17+ just finished my SPM

Shan: Yeah!

Lady: No la, 18 above only can

Shan: Oh. Fine, give me 3 tickets for Mr Mangorium and 1 ticket for Hitman

I was really pissed so I grinned at the lady as much as possible before we left for dinner. After taking a seat at La Manila. Our orders were taken and surprisingly mine took twice as long than the others. When my Lasagna arrived at 8.45pm, I gave a rather annoyed looked to the waitress 'cause I had a 9pm movie to catch I mean, who wouldn't be? And started digging in. Not too long after that

Shan: *nudges* Hey, mum. Isn't that?

Aunt: Ya la....Ramli Ibrahim ( very famous indian traditional dancer )

Me: What? * looks at the back* Oh...erm....wow

After getting some pocorn and Coke we went for the movie and bla bla bla. They sent me back home and I went to bed. Zzz Zzz Zzz

THX UNCLE , AUNTY AND SHANTHINI!

You all have to watch this video by JawKneeYeah. He seriously rocks :)

Brothers' Day Out

Got up at 9am today. In a good mood I went downstairs to have some breakfast. Then, Cindi texted me saying she would be slightly late for our day out. But due to some "complications" the shopping spree was moved to 1pm. Doesn't matter! We still had a good time :)

I know this is kind of hard to believe. But, Nathan and me were trying to find each other, not noticing that we were circling the same pillar outside Shakey's Pizza. Haha! Hilarious.

Both of us dropped by Wh. It's sort of cool 'cause the whole boutique was is in the theme of a carnival. Yeah, even with those partically creepy circus songs. Nath grabbed hold of this tank top then she was scanning the whole area for a fitting room. " Are sure carnivals have fitting room? Haha! Why don't you just ask one of the guys?". She was too busy looking over the clothes. So, I managed to spot a friendly-looking guy

Me: Hey! Where's the fitting room?

Friendly guy: Oh it's over here , in the middle.

Cindi: *gives me the look*

Me: See? It's simple. Haha!

Cindi: *smiles*

We went to AnW after that. We got a seat outside. I was starting to get sick of the air-cond. Sitting in the breeze we were gulping down some very cool Rootbeer sided with curly fries. Of course! The funny part was, they ran out of glasses so the rootbeers were served in Anw paper cups. The guy at the counter made sure we got what we wanted. This includes a little maths calculation. Haha!

ONE LARGE ROOT BEER = 1 BIG CUP + 1 SMALL CUP

It's really funny. Don't you think? There's even a picture of it in the slideshow :) After an hour or 2, I had to leave. It's a happy day.

Just Like A Tatoo

Jordin Sparks can sing! Yeah, it's true. Im really addicted to Tatoo right now. One of the reason's I like to watch it is because the guy the in the video looks good. He does :) And Blake appears towards the ending! Haha

Oh my gosh. My parents were planning on taking us to Langkawi when their back. I can't wait!

Nice

Laughter is unique

Oh my gosh! The video above is so freaking funny. Its a clip by Nick Swardson.

Will be going out for dinner tonight. Most probably my uncle, cousin and me would be going for this Saturday's Flyniverssary. Lots of performances and artistes will be coming too. Im not exactly a local music person. But I do support it. Malaysian music i pretty cool! I think it's getting better by the day :D

MALAYSIA BOLEH!

Hot Breeze

Before going to school on Registration Day :)

Smiley faced thosai . LOL!

Oh My Gosh! Too bimbo!

Emo-ing?

Punk rocker

Yeah, that's me
My parents are on vacation right now. They left this morning at 5am. All I could do was get up and say "Goodbye, have a great trip!" then, I fell onto my fluffy pillows to continue my slumber. Now, it's just Rashika, my uncle, maid and me. Most probably I'll spend a night or two at my cousin's. Then hangout with my friends. Last night, my mum made thosai. I made a speacial one for myself as you can see above. Haha! I started blinging up one of my pictures to kill time. I hope all of you like it. Lunch time!

Serious Isn't Professional

Today's registration was pretty ok. As I was rushing into the school compound THE Cindi and Joanne spotted me. Even before I could start a conversation with them, big hugs filled the air. Yes, they hugged me real hard. I didn't see it coming though. Haha! The three of us were usherers AKA one of the best jobs a prefect could get. Yay! And our new assistant head prefect, Nasyitah kept checking on us.

Me: Hey , assitant head prefect!

Snape: Why is it hard to believe?

Me:Yes, very. *smiles*

Snape: Haha!

The wheather was killer at about 3pm. Some of the parents even pittied looking at us with our blazers on in the hot sun. Haha! Water feels so good when your in thirst. And I experienced that earlier today.

Other than that, we were having a blast! Everytime the "coast was clear" Cindi would take out her handphone and all of us ( Joanne, Man Ling,Cindi and mua ) would camwhore to the max :D

My parents came at about 4.45pm and Cindi decided to follow us to Keen's. We had super HOT AND SPICY prawn noodle soup. Which wasn't actually a good thing when the soup hit my chin caused my to jump and my chopsticks to drop off my bowl. My "brother" one the other hand, was literally crying because of the taste. Wiping our tears we left the shop. Haha!
It was a good day. Im glad I went to school and had a great time with my friends.

Chill Of Tears

Backstreet Boys - Inconsolable

Yesterday's post was really crappy? I agree with all of you. So I decided to reupdate.

Later on this afternoon, all of us ( prefects ) go to attend a registration for 2008's newbies.

Other than the fact that we have to help out in such hot wheater, atleast I get to meet my friends and have fun with them :)

INCONSOLABLE!

I really like the song. Eventhough, it's sort of emo.

Heart pulse

Musical effects

Hilarious!

Grade 2

Today, I had my Grade 2 exam 10.36am till 10.49am at One World Hotel. Its a lovely hotel. I was escorted to the waiting room at 10am. After settling my registration at the counter ( the lady at the counter was really nice :) I sat down to tune my guitar. Bright sunrays entered the room which made it lively. A few other very nervous looking students were there, either fiddling with their guitar strings or staring blankly into space with a pathetic look. Am I the only unpressured one here?" I thought to myself. Then, Mr Lim arrived!

Teach: Tuned your guitar?

Me: Yea.....

Teach: Don't worry la...sure can get good grade

Me: I hope so 0_0 *imagines dramatic music*

Teach: Okok, warm up a bit

2 minutes passed as I was playing a few scales to refresh my mind. Then, the lady at the counter smiled at me.

Me: Oh no 0_0

Teach: *smiles*

Lady: It's your turn.

Teach:Haha! Good luck!

Me: *gulp* Let's get this over with

We walked pass a few rooms. When we reached "the room", the student inside wasn't exactly finished so had to wait outside. The silence only increased suspense. I decided to start a conversation with the lady. Small talk. The wooden door opened and the guy inside came out holding his guitar by the fret board. And he didn't look "calm". Most probably he wanted to get it over with. Like me! The friendly examiner invited me in after that

Examiner: Ahh another guitarist! Hello, how are you?

Me: Yeah. Hi ! Im good.

Examiner: Just make yourself comfortable.

Me: Uh huh

I started with the scales. I fumbled my D# .

Me: Oh...erm...I really messed that up.

Examiner: Its ok try it again.

Me: What ? Repeat it?

Examiner: Yes

Me: Great!

" You've got to be kidding me!" I thought to myself. Getting another chance is super rare in exams.
Using the opportunity, I aced in the second time! Satisfied, we moved on to the three songs I had to play. Comanche, Licence To Chill and Freestyling. I did pretty good for all. Though, my fingers started hassitating at times. Side reading was next. I had to play a piece spontaneosly. And I obviously suck at that. I did my best though!

Waiting for the next few questions, I had stand behind the black piano. After he played a melody, I had to

1. Clap the beat
2. State the dinamic change
3. The melody is in major or minor?
4. Is the last note higher, lower or the same as the fisrt note

I did ok for the melody stuff. And finally....

Examiner: Thank you *smiles*

Me: Huh? o.O

Examiner: Thank you the exam is over.

Me: Oh, wow! Really? That's good.

Examiner: Bye!

Me: Buh-bye!

I went out ot the room holding my guitar by its fretboard and returned to the waiting room to collect my one of a kind gig bag. Haha! Perasan... Anyway,

Teach: So, how was it?

Me: Scary...the examiner looked a bit like Dumbledore.

Teach: Oh, haha! What about the scales and songs and side reading?

Me: I was all good. But I kind of flunked the side reading

Teach: Nevermind la...have you called your dad?

Me: Yea Im going to

Teach: Ok! See you tommorrow!

When I was waiting by the door of the waiting room, two rather friendly men were outside.

Man: Hey, your going to take exam? *airguitars*

Me: Taken already.

Man: Oh. Grade?

Me: 2 only.....

Man: Great!

He looked like the hotel manager ( One of them atleast ) and he had the name tag and stuff.
My dad came as usual, in a happy mood. All I could say was " The exam...it was good". Haha!
Well, we came back home and the pressure's off. Poor Rashika got chicken pox. And I haven't decided if it's good or bad. Haha!

Come On

Hey everybody! Well, tommorrow I have my music exam at One World Hotel. It's in the
morning. I hope I'll do good. Wish me luck :)
Anyway, make sure all of you try out the game above. It's freaking cool!
Adios!

Diwali day

Seat number 9

Tickets

OK, more like Happy Belated Deepavali but nevermind. LOL!

This year's celebration wasn't exactly "wonderful" as usual. But we all had a good time.
The reason? Like i've said before, me and a couple of my cousins got chicken pox. By the way, I healed two days ago :)

On Diwali Day

Woke up in the morning while running my fingers through my really messed up hair. I got ready for the day wearing my new Bodyglove top and Chick Avenue pants. Before getting my breakfast, I smiled widely in the mirror. ( It may be weird but it's how I start my day. Haha)

The rest started with the delicous home made indian breakfast. Which we don't exactly get everytime. LOL! At 11am we drove to Cineleisure to watch a movie. Inside the cinema Rashika and me were constantly gobbling down popcorn and chips. The "luxurious" meal was completed with some Coke.Haha!

We walked to The Walk and had some lunch at Rojak-rojak ( refer to Reducing By The Minute ). Roti Jala there was so freaking nice. Mmmm....

After lepak-ing at The Curve till 4pm, we came home and had some hot tea. A family gathering at a chinese retaurant which served awesome food sort of ended our day.

I know. Sounds kind of boring and involves lots of food. Atleast I updated for SOMEONE'S sake. Haha! Dont hide youself, SOMEONE. Watched The Office today. The episode where Micheal is influenced by Jamaican culture and sleeps with his ex-boss during his vacation there. LOL! It's retardedly funny.

Just came back from some Badminton. Better go take a bath. Bye!
