Prefect's Camp '09 { Dusun Eco Resort, Pahang }

Prefect's camp. Heee. :D Most amazing camp I've been to in my life.



So we all reach school at about 3pm last Friday. Basically getting more & more excited by the second. " Omg, camp ! Omg, camp ! ". Finally left after an hour after getting our cute little fluorescent green tags.

Bus two ! At one part of the journey looking over the left windows made us feel like we were gonna fall over or something. And we would have if Yi Yuan didn't forget to freak out and balance both sides with equal amount of human beings. Haha. :)

So basically after the 2 hour drive, they dropped us off somewhere in the middle of the jungle. And we came up all of these crazy assumptions like our dormes being on hills and everytime we'd open the front door it was a life or death matter 'cause the hills were crazy slopey. But we were still hypering and taking retarded jumpshots.

Very retarded. Hee.

So, they sent a couple of trucks over to take us up to the resort. Uber bumpy and scary just like roller-coaster rides. Except there were no trash cans to puke in after the ride. Lol.

James had the BEST seat. Yeah, he was freaking out a little. Nope actually a lot.

Up at the resort. Loved the atmosphere there seemed so woodsy and different from skyscrapers and cement-mixing lorries. We didnt do much except getting used to the alien insects. The dorms were clean, thank god.

Saturday was 'the' day I tell you. Started it off with the morning exercise, i mean the most fun morning exercise i've ever done ! We did a little bit of strecthing then used the same movements for songs like My Heart Will Go On, Buttons, One Two Step etc. It was hilarious especially the flying movements for the Titanic theme and watching Horng Qing singing it, quietly though. x)

Second day, first stop rock climbing !

Okay, the reason I posted this picture up was 'cause I love the flying random person's leg above Anjelee & Yi Yuan. Nyahahahaha. Should find out who's that la .

The three lucky arses to reach to the top. Cindi and me went together, and boy by the 7th/8th step my fingers were trembling though I really appreaciated the never-ending support from Anjelee & Nisshata. Letting go was equally fun. 'Cause you can play flying ninja. The dude took a while too lower me down, I like to believe he was waiting for Anjelee who was snapping pics. Haha.

Next was flying fox. Before strapping on to the "flying gear" ( that's what I like to call it ) we had to climb a bridge. A hanging bridge about 200 feet from the ground with 3 ropes. You can only step on the middle one and hold on to the wires on either side for support. Imagine that shit -gulp. To ease the intensity, Yi Yuan and me started singing like it was nobody else's business. We were laughing through You Raise Me Up the whole time. Haha. The other's were too busy concerntrating though. Lol.

Was a good thing we could get on the flying fox in pairs. Obviously, me and my favourite retard went together. :P

River rafting was after we got floured up during the surprise obsticle course. Surprise for me, atleast. I couldn't do all the knotting stuff while we were building the raft so I was the isle. Holding up the painting for all of my buddies to finish creating the art piece we all had to ride on. Everybody's arses got wet either way. :P

Later that night, we had a module. You ask me now also, I cant remember it 'cause I was too busy trying to stretch open my eyelids till 2am. According to Grace & Cindi who were observing me >_> picture a smiling hush puppy, yeah that's me.

Last day, morning exercise again with more flying moves. Heheee. Yi Yuan and me always do it with extra semangat. Lol. The closing ceremony was a lil' emotional for me basically because of Anjelee's superb singing. I started to feel the <3.

Ride back all the way down on the truck. Horng Qing helped us get into the same truck. Hehe. Thanks HQ !

We got the backseats in the end. Muahahaha. >:) Lol. Just kidding, kiddos.

Omgosh, it's official to say I'm toh-ta-lay hyped. Rafting, rock climbing, flying fox-ing & getting into Bus 2 accelerated my daily activities today by twice except waking up. That required getting up then hitting the 'snooze' button several times.

Nish said she could practically see excitment right through me without even having to say it. Danial seems to be in the same condition as me and he's counting the hours. Haha. Well, there's 20 hours more.

I need to go pack la ! & Grace ( Lim ) you are soooo my bunk buddy. :)

They bring back so many bittersweet memories. Everybody munched on them. They brought back photographic flashes of my over weight headmistress doing her morning rounds in kindergarten. I always believed that she worked part-time on WWF 'cause they didn't pay her well there.

This ear-chipped-off-teddy also reminded of how much I embraced break time. We used too sit in little round circles and have the most inhuman topics of conversation, not so different from the present. Haha. So, when I saw packets of this stacked on the shelf at Carrefour I felt an inner connection with it instantly and grabbed one.

Commited To The Kicks

Hari Anugerah '09 today ! Most of us were there by 7:15am in our abadoned-for-almost-6-months blazers. Hehe.

I was helping out the teachers for registration. Somehow I didn't take it seriously when Zara said the teacher I was going to be with was practically blind, not literally though. But it was true, very true. After I got the hang of what I was supposed to do, I just basically took over and the teacher was only crossing out the names. =_=

Watching all of the ex-form 5s 'transformations' was very interesting. Some looked extremely matured, some got geeky & rest of them were still their lively kiddish selfs.

The ceremony finally begins at 9am surprisingly on time. Haha. Hands down SMKDU's Orchestra were the best though I did love the angklungs in the traditional one. -wink wink
I almost cried during Viva La Vida. " Those are my rockstars ! "

The price-giving started right after that. And I didn't trip over the wires ! Muahahaha. There was a lot of hugging and kissing outside of the hall. I got patted by my Dad. - that's just what he does when he's proud. Haha. My legs were dead tired by the end of the day so all I could do when I got back was .. Zzz.

Obviously finding temporary paradise in the smallest things in daily life seems to relax me with the workload right now. And I even heard about this on Oprah. :(((

Sometimes getting butt-naked and running away doesn't seem like a bad idea. Heh.

Vertigo Vision

Basically, y'all know what's up with Nasyitah with the shaking pupils and stuff. So, Cindi and me decided to spend some time with her last Sunday. Due to some misunderstandings & weather problems we could only make it there at 7:30pm. Daniel, Moses and Shao Wei were leaving by then. Somehow it felt like we were taking shifts. Haha, the poor guys were waiting outside for about half-an-hour thinking it'd be too weird going into Nasy's room without us.

Talking about Nasy's room- oops I mean Premiere Room was close to a hotel suite meant for 1. Haha. From the self-flushing toiletbowls to the flatscreen LCD tv. Spells luxurious from every corner.


We spent a good hour there. Talking, talking, messing with Taqif & talking somemore. It was nice though, I missed her like hell.

I'll give you more chocolates to unwrap and you'll get through this. :')

My head is an iPod. It turns on and off when it needs to. Muffles the external unacceptable rants from old people but grows internally. Louder and louder till it brings me into another world by the time I notice Im air guitaring or doing the moonwalk it's almost too late to pretend I can't see the staring faces. Annual 2nd College Dinner { Marriot, Putrajaya ! }

David Archuleta performed at Sri KDU earlier today. My uncle was so hyped out by the whole thing ( he teaches at Sri KDU ) and he still is. Haha. Of course for the talent David A has the performance sounded like it came right off the album. Lucky arses. -pfft

Anyways, Im here to blog about our annual college dinner for 'o9 !! Dad picked Marriot and it was definetely a fantastic choice. Except for the heavy traffic which held up 50% of the guests. Time for snapshots. :DDD

Hail The Carpenters

We had a 2 period KH lesson today. Kerja kayu -overdramatic gulp

My project's been taking shape the right way, luckily. I thought of doing a nail-free project just like those dudes did with that castle. Nevermind forget about that. I was glue-ing everything together pretty good. Till Pn.Chong insists me on nailing everything in place.

Got the hammer, got the nails & Im good to go. "Okay, Kiru. Nice & steady -forces shaking fingers to stop". I've had problems with nails somehow they stick out the other end, get bent while hammering or go right through my finger. Maybe not much of the last one la. Haha.

Bang. " Ouch, wtffffffffff ". After several horrible attempts then I only noticed Pn. Chong was right next to me the whole freaking time. She was laughing her head off watching the making of my "professional" piece of work which I was trying to get done & exhibit to world. Perhaps, sell it on e-Bay too. Haha. Obviously, she did most of the nailing for me ( I'd have turned 30 by the time I completed it all by myself ) . Even felt surprised 'cause I'd never expected her to be so helpful. I mean, she didn't even get mad at me for not nailing right about 5 times or more !

Still got another 2 weeks to finish the crap. -pfft I don't sound like my usual self today. Think it was the 2 hour nap I had. Anyways, say Hi to your mom's for me ? o_O Nevermind.
