About The Wako

My photo
Who's too chicken to dance in public ? Who's too chicken to dip bananas in spicy sauce ? Who's too chicken to parade around with their underwear as headwear ? Not me.

Whoopsi-Daisy!

Last weekend's Facilitators' Camp turned out to be more like a 72 hour holiday at Sugam Karnatica. 12 good friends I haven't caught sight of for the past year, a big house and no "lights-out" time -endless fun! The highlight for the weekend though was discovering on a lovely Sunday evening while rolling around the gentle grass that we had fluent-tamil-speaking chinese neighbour while ... actually cracking a few jokes about him thinking he wouldn't understand. I gotta say, what an awakening to the diversified world we have now!

Friends In Arcades

Considering the fact a lot of teamwork and effort was put into the past three weeks to make Samarpanam 2009 ( pictures will be up soon, hopefully ) a sucess as it turned out to be on the 19th, all of us decided to go have some fun at Midvalley earlier today.

First stop, the arcade ! :D Theva and me seemed the most keen on this one. We spent a good hour or two there, just trying out all of the stuff there including the out of order machines. Not like they had labels saying the machines couldn't be used. o_O

Woo, go Theva ? Go Sarvin ? What the hell is Prem doing in the third picture, haha.

Priya & Shankar watching Theva play. :o

I was pretty good at that shooting game thing. Maybe I destined for snipers and machineguns. -gasp

NAAAAAAH.

We dropped off Theva & Tivya at the South Court and decided to go get some sundaes. Mmm.

Gayathiri look adorable in this picture with her McFlurry. I belanja-ed three fellas their sundaes, better appreciate it. ;D

" Kiru : What did I do ? "

Chocolate sundaes ftw !

Sarvin insisted we go bowling before I leave. So, we headed to the bowling alley. Those bowling shoes really stink. :S

I played a couple of times then felt lazy and let Khiran do the rest of the bowling for me. Thanks for scoring for me over and over, Khiran eventhough I didn't really ask you to. Hehe.

Everyone decided abandon the game to send me off at about 2pm. Aren't they sweetest ? :'D Haha. I'm going to miss these guys so much. Three weeks wasn't long, but the period of time barely matters when you instantly start feeling like family.

Shiny Green Apples

Headed back home early from camp today. I was kindly welcomed by a trail of horse dung along the street in front of my house right as I was getting out of the car. It looked so ... undigested ?

Anyways, we're halfway through sorting out our outfits for the whole show. And I've got the weirdest combination of things on my list-

red blouse, two metre long scarf, all black top, orange robe, etc.

Yes, fear me I'm the weirdo in the orange robe wearing funny beaded stuff acting onstage for less than ten minutes.

Haha.

I wanna run through the halls of my high school,
I wanna scream at the top of my lungs,
I just found out there's no such thing as the real world,
Just a lie you've got to rise above.

Leaves & Pots

So, I got picked to be in a dance for the big stage performance at the end of camp where I'm required potray a crazy person. Mainly, I'm going to lose myself onstage with seven other friends of mine and we're going to freak the audience out. :D

Tomorrow we're having a practice just for that till noon. So, I'm pretty excited to see what the facilitators have in store for us. Other than wearing yellow sarees.

Yeah guys, remember the time I said you won't be seeing me in a saree anytime soon in Heavy Embroidery FTW ? I take that back.

Here Comes The Greenie

Day 1 at holiday camp.

We start off at 10:00am with a short briefing about almost everything from backpacks to deoderants, explained in fine detail by Ms Suba who is the main organiser. Considering the fact 80% of the participants are major blur cased kids, haha. I didn't have the easiest time handling them. Hate it when they just stare and turn away. T_T

But it was a good thing all of the fifteen year olds got to help out the facilitators. So, basically all we did was go " Shhh " when the kids got noisy, distribute cookies & drinks, arrange them in orderly manner before lunch time and also before we begin another session of singing, dancing and rehearsing.

Feeling great wasn't really one of things I expected to feel on the car ride back home. I'm happy I got to offer a helping hand, feel responsible & given the privilage to supply the little ones with nutritous snacks to reenergize them every three hours.

Plus, I didn't feel short around throughout the day ! :D
Except around my new friends, naturally I was the shortest. Haha.

By the way,

Congratulations, uncle !

Like what I've said before " Finally. " Hehe.

Girl Guides & Rangers Campfire 2009

The camp was fun and thought me something new, always cherish your cup of Milo. What I'm saying is, at camp so many of your little pleasures are cut down. Those being a part of your lifestyle ends up being such a big burden during these kinda things. That's basically why I like going to camp. To remind myself to appreciate everything I'm gifted with. From the chocolate cake laying on the kitchen counter to these $200 Philips headphones I have on. I love them but yet I forget. Everybody does. So, go get tortured at camp, it's all worth it.

Organizing Posse

That's how I do it.

Girl Guide's Camp '09 in a couple of hours. Almost done packing ... I'm so excited ! We're organizing and we've done our best compiling the best shizz. Very much looking forward to MK night or -cough cough, JAMAICAN NIGHT ! My idea. >:)

I've always been inspired by the peace & love Jamaicans truly believe in. Even with the crime going down there, the flags are still waved, respected so are the philosophies.

DJ K-Roo and DJ B.O.B are gonna be laying some hot raggae for the night. More techno under my playlist though, since it's my speciality. So happy most of my lurves are going to come support us that night.

Peace, man ! Off to school early to set everything up.

Prefect's Camp '09 { Dusun Eco Resort, Pahang }

Prefect's camp. Heee. :D Most amazing camp I've been to in my life.

So we all reach school at about 3pm last Friday. Basically getting more & more excited by the second. " Omg, camp ! Omg, camp ! ". Finally left after an hour after getting our cute little fluorescent green tags.

Bus two ! At one part of the journey looking over the left windows made us feel like we were gonna fall over or something. And we would have if Yi Yuan didn't forget to freak out and balance both sides with equal amount of human beings. Haha. :)

So basically after the 2 hour drive, they dropped us off somewhere in the middle of the jungle. And we came up all of these crazy assumptions like our dormes being on hills and everytime we'd open the front door it was a life or death matter 'cause the hills were crazy slopey. But we were still hypering and taking retarded jumpshots.

Very retarded. Hee.

So, they sent a couple of trucks over to take us up to the resort. Uber bumpy and scary just like roller-coaster rides. Except there were no trash cans to puke in after the ride. Lol.

James had the BEST seat. Yeah, he was freaking out a little. Nope actually a lot.

Grace my bunk buddeh ! & Kai Sheng ._.

Up at the resort. Loved the atmosphere there seemed so woodsy and different from skyscrapers and cement-mixing lorries. We didnt do much except getting used to the alien insects. The dorms were clean, thank god.

Saturday was 'the' day I tell you. Started it off with the morning exercise, i mean the most fun morning exercise i've ever done ! We did a little bit of strecthing then used the same movements for songs like My Heart Will Go On, Buttons, One Two Step etc. It was hilarious especially the flying movements for the Titanic theme and watching Horng Qing singing it, quietly though. x)

Second day, first stop rock climbing !

Okay, the reason I posted this picture up was 'cause I love the flying random person's leg above Anjelee & Yi Yuan. Nyahahahaha. Should find out who's that la .

The three lucky arses to reach to the top. Cindi and me went together, and boy by the 7th/8th step my fingers were trembling though I really appreaciated the never-ending support from Anjelee & Nisshata. Letting go was equally fun. 'Cause you can play flying ninja. The dude took a while too lower me down, I like to believe he was waiting for Anjelee who was snapping pics. Haha.

Next was flying fox. Before strapping on to the "flying gear" ( that's what I like to call it ) we had to climb a bridge. A hanging bridge about 200 feet from the ground with 3 ropes. You can only step on the middle one and hold on to the wires on either side for support. Imagine that shit -gulp. To ease the intensity, Yi Yuan and me started singing like it was nobody else's business. We were laughing through You Raise Me Up the whole time. Haha. The other's were too busy concerntrating though. Lol.

Was a good thing we could get on the flying fox in pairs. Obviously, me and my favourite retard went together. :P

River rafting was after we got floured up during the surprise obsticle course. Surprise for me, atleast. I couldn't do all the knotting stuff while we were building the raft so I was the isle. Holding up the painting for all of my buddies to finish creating the art piece we all had to ride on. Everybody's arses got wet either way. :P

Later that night, we had a module. You ask me now also, I cant remember it 'cause I was too busy trying to stretch open my eyelids till 2am. According to Grace & Cindi who were observing me >_> picture a smiling hush puppy, yeah that's me.

Last day, morning exercise again with more flying moves. Heheee. Yi Yuan and me always do it with extra semangat. Lol. The closing ceremony was a lil' emotional for me basically because of Anjelee's superb singing. I started to feel the <3.

Ride back all the way down on the truck. Horng Qing helped us get into the same truck. Hehe. Thanks HQ !

We got the backseats in the end. Muahahaha. >:) Lol. Just kidding, kiddos.

All picture credits to my lovable brotha from another motha, Yi Yuan !

Signing off y'all,
Kiru.

Out In The Paddyfield

Those a few pictures from last weekend's prefects camp. Surprisingly the kampung life wasn't that bad afterall. We arrived Dayani Homstay centre, Sabak Bernam at 11am. Judging by the way the trainers treated us as when got down from the bus made me think I was going to spend my lovely weekend at a freaking bootcamp. Things cooled down and we started having fun when we did the ever - famous Chicken Dance. It was part of the agenda. Haha.
My fosters sisters were Zara, Naomi, Elisha and Nish. So freaky that Naomi and me are together once again like we did for Girl Guide's Camp '07 and the 10 kilometre hike earlier this year. Not that Im saying it's a bad thing, in fact it's great.Foster Dad sent us to Danial's house where everybody met up. Then we went fishing which most people enjoyed unlike me. Fishing sucks, you arseholes. Just kidding. Hehe.
To be continued.

Left Right And Back Up Again

Kampung Lifestyle

Almost scary when mentioned, isn't it ? That's where I'll spending my weekend with the rest of the Greenies. Ulam, paddy fields, fishing etc. Not my thang ! But to be honest Im sort of hyped up about it. Hopefully the one hour drive wouldn't bore all of us.

Woot. Finally completed my history project which is 58 pages long. Just for your info, that's considered pretty short. Compared to " some people " who took the effort of glue-ing atleast a hundred pictures onto their scrapbooks. Almost crazy aren't they.
Lately Ive been hookedonp to Family Guy. God, lame ass comedy rules. Seriously. And my favourite Griffin has to be Stewie. Him and his adorable lil' British accent which gets stuck on to me when I converse at times. <3

Stewie from family guy

And characters from Southpark. The perfect lil' foul - languaged kids Ive ever seen on TV.

South Park

Just for everybody's information both of these cartoon are strictly rated PG13.
